Work At Home Typing Jobs-In today’s Internet age, work at home jobs abound. One of the most popular of these is the entry-level work at home typist. Everyone seems to be able to type these days. Elementary school children have to learn to type to use computers at school. And there are many types of training that help a person improve their typing skills. With many companies are downsizing and outsourcing various positions in order to reduce costs, one of the first positions to be eliminated in many businesses is the typist position. This seems to be because since typists are somewhat common. Competition is steep in the field of work at home typists. What can you do to carve your niche into the world of entry-level online typing work? Here are a few suggestions.

What is an entry-level work at home typist? What type of work does an entry-level work at home typist do? An entry-level work at home typist usually prepares reports, letters, mailing labels, and other text based materials. As entry-level and home-based workers, typists may start by doing simple tasks that require less supervision, such as typing headings on form letters, addressing envelopes, or preparing standard forms on their computer. Basically, the entry level work at home typist makes neat, typed copies of materials written by other clerical or managerial workers. Entry level home based typists do the jobs that most typists do not want to do, or find tedious.

After working for a while, the reliable entry-level typist earns the respect of his or her employer. After gaining experience on the job, the entry-level typist may be given more responsibility. He or she may be given tasks which are more complicated and require a higher degree of accuracy. More training and independent judgment may be needed for this type of work. Senior typists, or more experienced work at home typists, may work with highly technical material where accuracy is a must. Some examples of this more technical typing work include such jobs as planning and typing more complicated projects. More experienced typists may also prepare complicated statistical tables, as well as combining and rearranging materials from different sources, or preparing master copies.

Occasionally an entry-level work at home typist may perform other clerical duties. Some of these duties may include answering telephon

Entry-level work at home typist may do jobs that may be a combination of typing, filing, sorting mail, and answering telephones. Entry-level work at home typists are needed to replace those who leave this occupation for many different reasons. And offices are always looking for temporary help, or help with work overflow. There will always be a need for the entry- level work at home typist. As long as there are companies outsourcing these typing jobs for whatever reason, a person will always be able to find employment as a work at home typist. If you take the time and have the patience to look for work as an entry-level typist, you will probably find work.

One very good source of entry- level work at home typist jobs is online employment agencies. Some examples of online employment agencies are Guru.com and Monster.com. There are many more online employment agencies to be found on the Internet as well. Some of these online employment agencies offer free access to job information. Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Not Join Brand New Mlm Companies

Almost everyday I receive an email about the last best pre-launch MLM opportunity, the deal of the decade, or about the launch of a new MLM company. More and more new companies advertise a pre-launch phase to attract their first distributors and it seems to be a real pandemic in the network marketing industry right now. Whether you are currently looking for a network marketing business or you are involved in one of those pre launch opportunities, keep on reading because this might open your eyes.

Here are the main 3 points that you should consider with respect to a brand new or pre-launch MLM company.

1. There is only a 10% chance that a new company will still be in business two years from now:

The number one reason why people fail in their MLM business is because they get involved in the wrong company. And one key variable to evaluate a company is how long it has been in business. It is important to know that only 10% of new companies ever make it to their 24th month before going out of business. If a company is less than 5 years old, statistically the company is still at great risk of going out of business. You need to understand that joining a MLM company younger than 2 years old is exactly like putting your money on a high-risk volatile stock.

You should also watch out for new divisions of reputable companies and evaluate them by the same time standards as any new MLM company. The reason why the parent company decided to launch a product or service under a new company rather than with its already existing company is often because they want to protect the existing company in case the new division would fail.

You can also find an existing company which has just changed its distribution model from direct sales to network marketing. Again, past experience does not matter. Many successful companies went out of business when they decided to try to use network marketing in their new venture.

As far as pre-launches are concerned, it is essential to remember that on occasion, a brand new business will use a pre-launch as a way of raising much needed funds to fund the opening of the business. And those funds are in such case provided by unsuspecting new distributors very often attracted

by hype and false promises. What happens when the company doesn’t raise enough capital to sustain the business? It crashes and burns, and the new distributors lose their investment. My advice is you should never pay anything to join a company that has not yet officially opened for business.

2. Building a downline would be a real challenge:

First, brand new MLM companies and especially pre-launches attract all kinds of tire-kickers, definitely not the best quality MLM prospects. Some people I know join a new network marketing company every few months. They are not really serious about building a MLM business, and are actually constantly looking for some get-rich-quick scheme or easy path to wealth. There is no doubt that you don’t want this kind of people in your team.

Then, unexpected or continual changes by the pre-launch or new company’s management, for instance with the products or the compensation plan, is not a good sign. These so called product enhancements, compensation plan adjustements or improvements are a proof that the company is still experimenting and that their business model is not strong enough. This should be a red flag. Your downline would also probably consider quitting because they feel the business is not on the right track. After all, everyone is looking for some security and stability.

3. You could jeopardize your biggest asset, your reputation:

If you sign up with a company in its start-up phase, you have to be prepared for the risk of losing your investment, your customer base, your business. But much worse, your reputation could also be permanently damaged. And people will be less inclined to follow you into another business opportunity if the last one you recommended crashed and burned. So ask yourself if you really want to risk damaging your reputation on a highly volatile startup just to make some money. Remember your name is your biggest asset, and make sure you don’t turn it into a liability.

As a rule of thumb, until a company has proven itself by staying in business for 24 months, it should still be considered high-risk, and I would not recommend any pre launch or brand new company. There are enough reputable companies out there for you to build a network marketing business without taking any high risks.

The internet is filled with opportunities for those interested in making the most of it, however it also has many who also use the platform to commit frauds and con people. As an individual, you are welcome to try and contact major marketing companies around the world, and let them know of your interest in taking part in their research. This is like shooting in the dark as you are not aware of who these companies or how to go about the process. Alternatively, you can join a paid survey site that has already established links with various marketing companies. These are companies that might charge you a fee, for access to their network of marketing firms but will also pay you once you are done taking the survey.

So how do you find out if the proposal on the net is scam or fraud? There are a few ways by which you can determine this. First of all, when you go through the website, does it seem genuine, check if there are there any testimonials by people who have worked and benefited from the same. You can also click on the contact information link to see if there are any names or numbers or maybe an email id for you to touch base with. If there are, you can contact them to know if the business proposition i

Do a search in one of the internet search engines such as Google, or Yahoo! using the business name plus the word “scam” as key words. See if there are any pages that people have put up warning that the program is scam. Get in touch with your friends or colleagues to check if they have heard of this company or if they can help you do a background check. All this will help you conclude if it is indeed a scam or genuine.

Alternatively, you can also look through the message boards related to working at home, where people like yourself post messages and share their experiences. This will give you indepth information about the venture you are pondering about and enlighten you about various other options available that you can explore. There are many forums and groups of the net where people sign up to learn more about the web world, to get guidance from others who have more experience in online businesses. Seek their guidance before taking the plunge so you protect yourself from scams and leverage on good opportunities.
