There are so many different jobs that you can do from home, especially when you are able to type at great speed.  There are many, and I mean numerous company’s that like to hire or contract their work out to a work at home typist.  They find it beneficial for many reasons.

You see most work at home typist, tend to get a lot more work done than those individuals that work in an office.  Why do I say that?  Because when you are in an office, there are tons and tons of distractions.  You have individuals who may come in and out of your space on a regular basis.  You have your boss who may drop by to add to your existing workload.  Your workload may more than likely consist of more than one project at a time. So your time is divided.  You need to have lunch and generally that lunch is with co workers which adds time away from your work.  You need to take a break, because in the office if you don’t move around, you find that you get stiff or your eyes start to hurt.  You have plenty of phone calls that you can’t ignore because every one of them is ‘urgent’.  I could just go on and on and on.

But when you work at home as a typist, you have the luxury of being isolated to a degree.  You don’t have to worry about answering the phone if you don’t want to.  You aren’t constantly distracted by someone coming in and out of your space, or walking around you.  You have the ability to work pretty much anytime you want.  So if working at 2:30 in the morning is better for you because there is dead silence in your home, you can do that.  You can’t do that when you work for a company.

As a work at home typist, you’re rarely interrupted by outside distractions that are beyond your control.  And because of that you get 10x as much work done.  And generally the more work you get done the more money you get paid.  You have the luxury of completing your assignments as early as you possibly can.  And if you choose to work on multiple projects at a time, you can more than likely complete them back to back.  You are even able to do them without having your boss come in and say to stop in the middle and start up 10 more items.  And probably the best part of all is at the end of your day; you simply get up from your pc and move to the next room and your ‘home’.  So if you’re toying around with becoming a work at home typist, go for it.  You probably won’t be disappointed at all.  Happy typing!

So you do a lot of work at home and you’ve been trying to get a review for several different companies, but you aren’t sure how to go about getting a work at home review for them.

The best place to look?  Yep, you got that right, the internet.  So what do you know about this company?  Nothing you say, but you want to know more.  Well what exactly are you going to find when you have a work at home review on a company?  You will find a ton of information.  Most of the information provided would be in regards to whether or not the company is legitimate.

You can find information regarding the company’s track record.  Information such as whether or not they have been considered having fraudulent behavior or practices.  Whether or not they have been sued or considered a warning with the Better Business Bureau.  You will find out exactly what the company has or hasn’t done based on the information supplied by ex employees or ex freelancers that may have worked with them.  If they were scammed or ripped off, swindled or dismissed this will be on a sight posted in blogs, or on a report of some kind.

For the most part if a work at home review is done online on a company and they aren’t a good company to work with, someone is going to say something.  I have come to realize that when you take a person’s hard earned money with a promise to make more money or you promise them a product that sells itself and it doesn’t.  Whew!!!! You had better be prepared for the backlash.  With the way that the economy has been going lately, people can’t afford to spend money and get nothing in return.  Nor will they tolerate empty promises.

If you can’t find a company that you are looking to work with in any work at home reviews, then you might be fine working with them.  It means that they are either holding up to their end of the bargain or they are really new on the market.  If they are the later, then trust your instincts.  If they say don’t do it, then don’t. Generally that gut feeling is right.  Check them out the Better Business Bureau and if they have never heard of them, be safe and wait until they have been around for a while and some reviews on them before getting involved with them. There are a few careers that I can mention off the top of my head at first thought.  The first one is a Virtual Assistant.  This is one of the cool work at home careers that is currently pretty big with overseas companies.  I have seen quite a bit of a demand for these virtual assistants.  These companies are normally looking for someone who is located in the area that they are trying to do their business.  I have seen them mostly for foreign call centers looking for local assistants.  What these assistants will do is take incoming calls for Managers; they will make initial contact with new vendors or customers and any electronic paperwork.  They also tend to be jack of all trades.  They provide both technical updates as well as web updates for the main company. It’s really a very cook career to take up.

Then you have the more technical careers where you have to be certified or at least degreed, such as being a CPA or coder or medical transcriptionist.  These work at home careers generally pay at top dollar from most companies that hire those that work at home.  Reason being is because you are specialized in your field.  Not every one can do these types of jobs, so you are looking at making really good money for doing them.  The other reason is that you don’t have the over head that major companies have.  They are generally just paying you to complete the work and get it back to them by the agreed timeline.

There are many other work at home careers that you can look into.
