I’m here to tell you yes you can. Now I will admit that there is some pretty stiff competition from those that own smaller companies that are in the United States and a ton more from those outside. You will find that out when you are bidding to get jobs. You will find that what most foreign data companies do that you will come up against is offer the same service for less money than you. So what do you need to do to make your product stand out?
Let me back up just a minute first. When you are doing data entry at home, you need to have a source of work coming in from somewhere. If you can take the overload from any of your industry contacts, that would be a start. But let’s just say that you aren’t able to do that. Then you need to make up your own clientele. You know basically start from scratch. Well then you are going to want to join at least one or two or maybe even three of the freelance type data entry sites that are available for free. There you can bid on upcoming projects that companies or individuals place for work.
Bear in mind that in the beginning you may have to start your pricing low. Now you don’t want to give away your services. You just want to start low enough to get some business generated. From there as you begin to get more projects you can then charge what you would normally charge for data entry work at home. Once you have established yourself and your work, you will find that it’s a lot easier to get work. And once that begins to happen, you more than likely will be looking at a steady flow of work
There is nothing like having a way to make a decent income, especially if it’s your specialty. Doing data entry work at home is one way to do that. And if it’s a job that you like to do, then you will really enjoy doing it well.
