The benefits of a work at home career
I was asked not to long ago about having a work at home career and the benefits of it. I was certainly pleased that someone would actually ask me about it, but was a little humbled at the same time. I mean I had to admit that with the current economy situation, I am truly blessed to have such a good career in all honesty. I thought as I talked about the positives of my work at home job, I could be talking about needing a job or worse yet, I could just need a job with no one to talk to.
So when I began discussing the benefits, I tried to keep things in perspective and not go into all the shallow reasons that I enjoyed about my work at home career. Things such as being able to shop in the middle of the day if I wanted to, or being paid so well that I could actually go shopping for things that I didn’t really need in the middle of the day. No I tried to address the things that actually matter now of days. Go here and see more information on a work from home career.
And those things were being able to provide a decent financial contribution to my family on a regular basis. This allows them to enjoy foods that are fresh and healthy vs. having to eat poorly because that’s what my money could purchase. Having a work at home career allows me the ability to attend my children’s programs that take place in the middle of the day. Or to pick the kids up early from school and take them for a treat in the park, something that those who have desk jobs or unfortunately no job can not do.
Having a work at home career also means, being able to determine what projects I can take on and how many vs. not being given a choice of what I can or can’t do. It means no rush hour traffic to or from an office that is closed in without fresh air or sunlight. It means being able to say no to a project if I feel it’s not right for me. It means that I can sleep in on Monday and Wednesday and still finish my project well ahead of schedule.
Having a work at home career means that I am spending more time with my family before and after school and work. It means that I don’t have to deal with the stress of work and family. It means that while I would relish the ideas of frequent massages, I don’t need them because I’m stressed, but because they are a treat. These are the benefits of having a work at home career and I’m thankful for every one of them. Go here to see more information on a work at home career.
